Mark & Dan,

Thanks for the opportunity to attend the school last weekend.  I really appreciated the patience and support of the coaches and other players.  Although I still have a long way to go, the other players on my regular team have already noticed the improvement, and I was much more involved in the plays than before.  Turns out it's even more fun that way!

I'm looking forward to continuing to work on my basic skills during the winter season.  Please let the coaches know how much I appreciate their efforts.  Thanks again!

Hi Mark,

I just wanted to send you and rest of the staff a personal thank you.  I not only had a great time but I also learned more than you could imagine from Tom and his staff.  Those guys bleed hockey!  It was awesome.  I would like to attend the next session in October.  Anyway, I had fun and I really will enjoy the Canadian jersey I won in the raffle.  I look forward to seeing all the new shots on the website from camp.

Hello Mark & Dan,

I had a blast at Lifetime Hockey School!  I had played organized hockey for a year and really needed to work on my fundamentals.  The Lifetime instructors were knowledgeable and patient! The part that really made the difference for me in this school, compared to other camps that I have attended, was that you start an idea in the classroom, practice it on the dry land, and then bring it onto the ice.  It was an extremely effective learning method for me!  I encourage anyone who wishes to improve their game to attend!

Hello Mark,

I would like to take this opportunity to say "Thank You" for a great weekend.  Tom Bast and his assistants did an excellent job.  I was truly impressed.  I am already contemplating signing up for next fall.

Thanks again,

Steve Klinesmith (the Michigan guy)

Mark, that was a blast!  I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  Please keep me on your list for future events.

Hi Mark,

Jeff Hudson here.  I just wanted to let  you know how much I enjoyed the skills weekend!  Just like the last time, I got a lot of new ideas and had some old skills reinforced.  I wanted to make sure that I let you know how valuable the experience is.  You guys do a great job bringing this in!  See you this season . . . .

After attending Lifetime Hockey’s School the last few years, I really wanted to personally recommend it to the women of WHAM.  There are so many clinics out there now (and I’ve taken most of them), that it’s nice to know from someone who has taken it as to how helpful the clinic is.  Also I have noticed that being Canadian (and living on hockey) the coaches have insights that I never heard down here.  So I really think women players will enjoy it and learn a lot.  Any level of skater will enjoy this clinic.

This is the feedback that we received this summer.

1.  Did the school meet you needs and expectations? How?

·         Yes! Although we had not previously attended a hockey camp, and were a little bewildered about what to expect, we feel the school exceeded our expectations in every way.

·         Being in the same group was terrific; I was very grateful to be included in Bobbi's group, with the intermediate players!

2.  What were the best parts of the school?

·         The ice-skating and puck handling, of course.  But we also felt learning a lot of off ice technique and classroom instruction was exceptionally well organized.

·         Scheduling--one event following the previous, kept us busy and used time well--good time management.

3.  How well did the coaches meet your needs?

·         Overall--we thought the coaches were fantastic!  They all were excellent at developing drills on the ice and explaining why we were doing this relative to a game situation.  They had an obvious passion for the game of hockey.  Can they walk on water as well as they skate???

Tom "Think It Through" Bast

 Gentleman refined, cordial—the perfect director.

Peter "Nice Guy" Anholt

Very good at individual assessments and advice.

Derrick "Puck Blaster" Burrows

Excellent at puck handling, shooting, and critiquing student’s techniques.

 Rob “Quick Trigger” Hamill

Excellent at puck handling and shooting.

 Joe “Feel the Love” Engert

Excellent with positioning & plays, gives the reason why we do things on the ice.

 Mike “Make it Happen” Moeller

Very professional, smart about plays and individual advice.

 4.      What was your overall impression of the school?

 ·          Very well organized and well thought out.

·          Great website—packed with useful information for the beginner as well as intermediate player.

·          The instructors were so full of knowledge about the game.  They were sincerely interested in teaching adults the concepts of good hockey.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark!

We just got back from vacation so I just got your message.  After the experience of my LIFE at the camp, I soooooooooooooooooooo want to come back in October!  My husband and I are going to check into it (I have to get my calendar for the school year) and then I’ll let you know for sure.

I had such a great time at the camp.  What I learned, the people I met, the fun I had.  It was just phenomenal.  And you did such a tremendous job putting it all together.  Wow.  What an organizer.  I can’t even begin to imagine the hours and manpower you put into getting that thing up and running (and running so well).  I’ve been in touch with most of my “Blue Group Buddies” and I am planning to send off some pictures when my hubby and I get them all put together.  I will of course send them to you as well.

Thank you SO MUCH for everything!  I will be in touch.=)
