If you can skate and play a little hockey, please consider
attending one of our hockey schools taught by Tom Bast and his all Canadian
coaching staff. Lifetime Hockey will again host a comprehensive 4-day
adult hockey camp on August 13 - 17, 2008 in
Minneapolis, Minnesota. The early bird discount
has been extended to May 15, 2008 - use your tax rebate to attend Hockey
School! Click here
to go directly to the registration page.
We have over 250
alumni from our schools that are actively competing. Please send us news
and check out your friend's progress on our Alumni
page.
If you are a new player and don't know what
a term means and are afraid to ask your teammates - look it up in our glossary or search our site. We
think it is one of the most extensive on the Internet.
Lifetime Hockey tries to be as helpful as
possible for no-check players so we have quite a number of web pages in our handbook
with advice and instructions on everything from buying equipment to taking the
shot that scores. They are targeted to the
adult beginning
or intermediate player. We can also direct you to good deals on equipment that will fit the older player.
Check out our instructions to build a Hockey Tree and
save your equipment!
Hockey is a fluid and spontaneous game but
all players need to know at least a few basic plays. We have animated the fundamental plays that we think are basic to
the game and that all players should master. After you view these plays
try them out for real at our annual hockey camp
Visit our bookstore
which lists those books, videos and other resources that we think can be
helpful to the no-check player. We also have listed a few of our favorite links to other hockey
websites. We enjoy hockey videos from YouTube
and have selected some that are instructional of just fun..
We have written a comprehensive and
complete handbook for no-check players. Many of the chapters
in this handbook are available in the skills section.
Other
training resources are included as well.
Do you want to support Lifetime Hockey and
it's mission? It's simple: attend our
hockey camps and schools, buy equipment through our Hockey Giant
portal or buy books through our Amazon bookstore
(we get a small commission.) We thank you.
